Who are We?
- EGC is an exploration and mine development services group which is designed to fill the technical skills gap for exploration & mine development groups when they need it. Our services are designed to be plug and play, use us when you need us.
- Our team comprise specialists in all facets of Mineral Exploration through to Mine Study Development. We are comfortable operating in diverse environments and have extensive experience in Africa, Australasia and the Americas. Each one of our specialists has at least 15-30+ years of field and technical experience.
- We have worked on projects that extend the full mine-life cycle from regional project generation through to Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve classification and mine development studies.
- We have kicked lots of different rocks and have worked on hundred’s of prospects around the world.
- We have worked for some of the largest mining companies down to some of the smallest junior companies as well as private entities and cornerstone investors.
- With our junior company experience we have knowledge and experience working with mining investors and can broker prospective projects seeking capital (market dependent).
- We know we are truly successful when our clients’ projects succeed with mineral discoveries followed by successful mine development.
EGC Values
- We value good quality yet practical scientific work.
- We understand program efficiency and deliver our work on time and on budget.
- Our work ethic is demonstrated in our commitment to the industry and our passion and drive towards mineral exploration success followed by mine successful development.
- We understand mineral exploration is a high risk yet high reward business and only exceptional projects develop into economic mines. Delivering cost-effective and technically efficient programs is key to maintaining a prospective portfolio of projects.
- We have a deep understanding of the challenges in funding exploration and mine development projects, we spend it like its our own. We have worked on projects with large hundred million dollar resource drill out budgets down to the shoe-string grass roots budget, we enjoy the diversity, its all part of what we do.
EGC Philosophy
- We know creating mines is a very challenging business and we enjoy the challenge.
- We know costs are fixed and time is money and efficiency is key to managing a successful mining portfolio.
- We know first hand the first 2-3 years of a project life is critical to deliver encouraging results to continue to attract investor and management support.
- We like to evaluate data and we know the quicker the data can be evaluated, the more cost effective the program.
- Our experience with mine studies conducted for a range of commodities has enabled us an appreciation of what a potential mine can look like during the early exploration phases, we believe we have a good understanding of economic geology and geometallurgy which we apply early to exploration programs. Conversely we know which components of mine studies are important to front end load during from the exploration phase into the mine development phase to save time and money.
- We are experienced Environmental and Community Managers. We believe when done well, all parties have a good understanding of the mine and development process and conflict is avoided. Communication, communication and more communication with interested and impacted parties keeps projects on schedule and within budget.
